‘Autopsy.io’ is a website that will help entrepreneurs learn from the mistakes made by failed startups.

 

The website, in spreadsheet format, records the names of the startups, its basic business idea, founder's name, and the reason for failure, which is linked to a comprehensive article about its demise.

 

Co-founder Matthew Davies explained to Business Insider that the reason for starting this website is definitely about lessons, and “hopefully people will see the patterns… We've seen lists of the ten things that everyone does right, and we're hoping that this will be equally as valuable.”
